Bio:

Marci Clark, PhD is Managing Director at JDS Development Group, where she leads strategy, positioning, and delivery of complex mixed-use, mixed-income, and adaptive reuse projects across New York City and Miami. Over more than a decade, she has guided projects totaling over 10 million square feet and $10 billion in capitalization, working at the intersection of design excellence, market strategy, and civic engagement.

At JDS, Clark has been at the forefront of branded residential development in North America, leading integrated design, marketing, and brand strategy for landmark projects including the first real estate collaborations with Mercedes-Benz and Dolce&Gabbana. Her work explores how global luxury brands translate into the built environment, shaping not only identity and experience, but also long-term asset value and urban impact.

Trained as an architectural historian, Clark holds a PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center, where her research examined the collaboration between architects and developers in shaping modern urbanism. This dual perspective, academic and practitioner, inflects her approach to development as a cultural act, bridging past and present to create places of enduring meaning and financial performance.
