Carlos Hernández builds the destinations the world's top hotel brands choose to anchor. As CEO of Pellas Development Group, he leads a $1-billion+ Central American luxury resort and branded-residence portfolio — including the 1,200-hectare Costa Elena destination in Guanacaste, anchored by the JW Marriott Costa Elena and the forthcoming Rosewood Playa Rajadita hotel and 35 branded residences. He developed Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa — Nicaragua's first ultra-luxury hotel — and the 447-key Dreams Las Mareas with AM Resorts. His career spans signature projects for Rosewood, Auberge, One&Only, and Fairmont across Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
